The Samsung BN59-01496A is an original IR remote control designed for select Samsung Smart TVs. It provides standard television controls along with dedicated shortcut buttons for Netflix, Samsung TV Plus, YouTube, and Prime Video. Because this remote operates using infrared (IR), no pairing or programming is required—simply install the batteries and point the remote toward the TV. This model is also identified by Samsung as the TM1240A remote and is designed specifically for compatible Samsung televisions.
NOTE: The remote you may receive may have different shortcuts, or it may be substituted with another fully compatible model, and verified by the manufacturer.
