Revised Return & Refund Policy (Legally Strengthened Version)

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through our website or other sales channels operated by Manu (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located in San Antonio, Texas, USA. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by this policy, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws.
We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to orders placed after the effective date. It is your responsibility to review the policy periodically.
1. 30-Day Return Policy (US & Most International Customers)
We offer a 30-day return window from the date you (or a recipient designated by you) receive the item.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The item must be in its original, unused, and unopened condition — unworn, unused, with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice).
- Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days of delivery.
How to Initiate a Return: Contact us at info@meetmanu.com with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship items back without prior approval.
If approved, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label (where available) and instructions. Items returned without prior authorization or a valid return label will not be accepted and may be refused or returned to you at your expense.
2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Inspect all orders immediately upon receipt. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@meetmanu.com if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
We will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion:
- Provide a replacement,
- Issue a full refund, or
- Offer store credit.
For defective items, we may require photos or other evidence. This does not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
3. Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions
The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances (except for defects covered by law):
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants, etc.)
- Custom or personalized products
- Personal care / hygiene / beauty products (opened or unopened)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Gift cards
- Sale, clearance, or discounted items
- Digital downloads, software, or services
- Items without original packaging, tags, or that show signs of use/wear
If you are unsure about a specific item, contact us before purchasing.
4. Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the original (following the process above) and place a new order. We do not process direct exchanges.
5. European Union (EU) 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Notwithstanding the above, if you are a consumer in the European Union purchasing via distance contract, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period to cancel your order for any reason without justification.
- The 14-day period begins the day after you (or a third party other than the carrier) receive the goods.
- The item must be returned in the same condition as received (unworn, unused, with tags and original packaging).
- You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
- We may withhold refund until we receive the goods back or you provide proof of return shipment.
We will provide a return label where required by law, but you may be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
6. Refunds
After we receive and inspect your return:
- We will notify you of approval or rejection within a reasonable time.
- If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- It may take additional time (up to 15+ business days) for your bank or card issuer to process the credit.
- Refunds will be for the purchase price only. Original shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item or defective).
Restocking Fees: We reserve the right to charge a reasonable restocking fee (up to 15-25%) for returns that do not qualify for full refund or involve high-value/special-order items. This will be disclosed at the time of return approval where applicable.
Return Shipping Costs: Unless the return is due to our error, you are responsible for return shipping costs. We are not liable for lost or damaged return shipments.
7. Important Disclaimers & Limitations
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws (e.g., warranties for defective products).
- We do not guarantee that returned items will be accepted if they fail to meet the conditions above.
- All sales are final for non-returnable items.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers who abuse the policy (e.g., frequent returns, misuse).
- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protections under EU law take precedence where they apply and cannot be waived.
