Magnesium Nitrate Fertilizer 11-0-0 with 9.6% Magnesium

Greenway Biotech Magnesium Nitrate 11-0-0 supplies magnesium and nitrogen together: 9.6% magnesium (16% as MgO) and 11% nitrogen, all of it nitrate. It dissolves readily in water, and 1 gram per liter adds 96 ppm magnesium and 110 ppm nitrate nitrogen.

Use it as a foliar spray where magnesium runs short on citrus, fruit trees, grapes, tomatoes, and potatoes, following crop-by-crop spray concentrations from 0.5% to 1.5% for most crops, or as the magnesium source in hydroponic, soilless, and fertigation solutions. In a two-tank system it goes in the calcium nitrate tank, which magnesium sulfate cannot share, and stays out of concentrated phosphate stocks.

Every pound of magnesium it supplies brings about 1.15 pounds of nitrogen, so count that nitrogen, and choose a nitrogen-free source when the crop should not get more. Building up magnesium in garden or field soil would take large amounts of this product and bring a lot of nitrogen with it, so other sources suit soil better. Weigh it for every use.
