- But the cable can not be pulled out or fed back by hand.
Press the button to move it to the left side
- Turning the drum clockwise or counterclockwise will only spin the cable, but won't extend or retract the cable.
- The cable can be pulled out and fed back by hand.
The Drill Must Run at UNDER 500 RPM!
To use the drain auger with a drill, set it to low gear (#1) and start gently.
Pull the trigger slowly so the cable turns steadily—like a car idling, not racing.
Running the drill too fast can damage the cable or pipes.
Cable Head Slightly Larger Than Some Drains?
For sinks with a fixed strainer or stopper, you may need to remove the drain cover or p-trap.
Basic tools and DIY skills are needed. Follow the included instructions for easy, safe setup.
Easy to Unclog Drain: repeat the step 1-3 as needed until the clog is cleared
Do not force the cable when resistance is encountered. Forcing may cause kinking or the cable to become stuck. If resistance is felt, stop, rotate slowly in reverse, then continue feeding the cable forward. Repeat as needed.
Designed for 3/4"–2" Household Drains
IMPORTANT NOTES: Don't snake a drain after adding drain cleaner, as the splashed chemicals can burn your skin. We recommend using our plumbing snake first when the water in your kitchen sink won’t drain or drains slowly.
-
The cable too wide to fit the drain?
For some drains, you may need to remove the drain hole cover or undo the p-trap if there is a drain strainer stopper that cannot be detachable. (Tool & DIY skills needed)
You can check the instruction that come with the package to learn how to do it.
-
The cable doesn't feed or retract?
Case 1: Make sure the button on the right side, then rotate the drum to feed or retract the cable.
Case 2: Reduce drill speed when meeting resistance.
Case 3: Pull back slightly and try again if the cable gets stuck.
-
Is this drain auger fully automatic?
This auger features an auto feed assist mechanism, but it is not fully automatic. You can control the cable feed and retract by rotating the drum or adjusting the drill direction and speed. It is still much easier and faster to use than manual auger.

-
Is this suitable for beginners?
Beginners can use it, but basic drill control and following the guide are important. Watching the video and manual is strongly recommended for best results.
