It enables remote control of fan speed and lighting using the Harbor Breeze Color-changing Remote (FA0188A) or Anderic Color-changing Remote (RRFA0308). The AM3L arrives pre-programmed and installs via plug connection without additional setup. To sync, turn off main power, turn it back on, and press the "learn" key on your remote within 30 seconds—the fan will start on low speed with the light off.

Syncing instructions:
