1920 Germany–Denmark Tingleff Notgeld 1 Mark – Schleswig Plebiscite Bilingual Note

Historic 1 Mark Notgeld from the Gemeinde Tingleff / Kommune Tinglev (North Schleswig), issued for the 1920 Schleswig plebiscite.

Front text is bilingual (German & Danish) and includes:

• “Volksabstimmung 1920 Nord-Schleswig / Folkeafstemning i Nord-Slesvig 1920”

• Colorful central panel with flags and coats of arms

• Large “1 MARK” on both sides and serial number at top

Reverse shows additional text and decorative framing (see photos).

Condition

• In a protective sleeve (included)

• Bright color with light handling wear and minor toning

• No major tears or heavy creasing noticed
