Institutional Gold Bullion: Purchasing and Storage

Manu provides corporate treasuries, family offices, and institutional allocators with a structured process for purchasing investment grade gold bullion and, where elected, directing it into third party storage. Every bar is .999 fine gold, sourced from LBMA approved refiners, with a certificate of authenticity confirming weight, purity, and refiner.

How Gold Bullion Purchasing Works for Treasuries

1. Select

Choose from investment grade gold bars available through Manu's marketplace and supplier network. Each listing states weight, purity, and refiner, allowing a purchase to be sized against a specific reserve policy rather than a fixed lot size.

2. Purchase

Execute a purchase at a stated price, with documented purchase terms and an ownership record issued at the time of sale. No minimum order size applies, and orders may be paid by credit or debit card or by wire transfer.

3. Settle

Payment is confirmed and a transaction record is issued, tying a specific transaction to a specific bar by weight, purity, and refiner.

4. Store

Treasuries that prefer not to take physical delivery may direct the purchased bar into storage with a designated third party storage provider for up to twelve months. The client may take delivery or arrange an extension directly with the storage provider before that period ends. Manu holds no custody role over any bar placed in storage.

5. Document

Manu maintains the transaction record, the certificate of authenticity, and the storage election record for each purchase, accessible through the client's account and available to support internal accounting and audit review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can purchases be structured on a recurring basis?

Yes. With no minimum order size, purchases can be sized and timed to a monthly, quarterly, or threshold based reserve policy.

Who holds the bar if storage is elected?

A designated third party storage provider, not Manu. Manu introduces the client to the provider and coordinates the transfer, and holds no custody role itself.

What documentation is provided for internal audit?

A transaction record stating price, weight, purity, and refiner, and a certificate of authenticity, both retained in the client's account alongside the storage election record where applicable.

How long can a bar remain in storage?

Up to twelve months from the date it enters storage, with the option to take delivery or extend directly with the storage provider before that period ends.
